* Beer Of The Month *
Dark hourse Crooked Tree IPA (Marshall, MI)
This beer is heavily dry hopped to give it a big aroma of pine & citrus. The flavors are big, yet very balanced between fresh hops & malt. A beer with excellent fruit flavor that finishes dry, crisp & clean.

* New At Cobblestone's Cask conditioned Beer *
What is Cask Conditioned you may ask.
Cask-conditioned beer, often referred to as 'real ale', is brewed from only traditional ingredients and allowed to mature naturally. Cask ale is ideally served between 54-56 degrees - cool, but not chilled like keg beers - and should have a noticeable natural carbonation from the secondary fermentation in the cask. The unfiltered, unpasteurised beer still contains live yeast, which continues conditioning the beer in the cask (known as 'secondary fermentation'); this process creates a gentle, natural CO2 carbonation and allows malt and hop flavours to develop, resulting in a richer tasting drink with more character than standard keg ('brewery-conditioned') beers.

* * * * * * * * * * PA Tavern Association NEEDS YOU * * * * * * * * * *
The PA Tavern Association needs YOU:
We are lobbying to state representatives to allow small games of chance in bars and restaurants (like the private clubs already have). The restaurant would receive 50% of the profits, the state would receive 30% in tax revenue and 20% would go to a charity of the restaurant's choice!!
On Tuesday, March 16th, we are heading to the Capitol to push for this bill and need your help. Busses will be leaving the parking lot of Fat Daddy's at 11:00 AM. Sandwiches, soda and water will be provided on the bus for lunch. Everyone will meet on the steps of the Capitol and we will then march inside and outside the Capitol with signs asking the Representatives to pass this bill. Following this lobbying effort the Association wants to thank you for your participation which helps our industry, by inviting you to a reception at McGrath’s Pub Harrisburg on Locust St from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Association members and state representatives are also invited. All food and drinks will be complimentary. McGrath's will be closed to the public for this event. Complimentary beer will also be served on the bus on the way home.
It will be a day full of food, drinks and fun plus it will be for a cause that will benefit many ~ the customers, the restaurants/bars, the state and local charities!!
Grab a friend and sign up. This event is sponsored by the PA Tavern Association: so there is NO COST to you. Reservations need to be made as soon as possible to reserve enough bus seating for everyone.
Please respond to www.cobblestonesyork.com if you can attend or if you have any questions.
